God has put such a burden on my heart for our nation and for the people that are not ready for the return of Jesus. I cannot get away from this burden. I have this feeling that I am not doing enough to let people know about Jesus and how wonderful life is when we serve Jesus.
“But if the watchman sees the enemy coming and doesn’t sound the alarm to warn the people, he is responsible for their captivity. They will die in their sins, but I will hold the watchman responsible for their deaths.” (Ezekiel 33:6) We must sound the warning that time is short. If we sound the warning we will not be responsible.
If you cannot see what is happening in America, you must be living under a rock. The Federal courts are doing everything within their power to outlaw even the mention of God’s name in public life. We are allowing the murder of millions of unborn children, not just allowing but praising this to happen. Violence in America today has surpassed that of the days of Noah and Lot. Our schools are not safe for students to attend. We ask why all this happening is. It is because we have asked God to leave. We think that we don’t need God anymore. We think we can handle it ourselves. “What Jerusalem and Judah did to bring judgment upon themselves is exactly what America is doing right now. And if the wicked behavior of God’s people signaled the imminent destruction of that society, then our sinful behavior clearly signals judgment on our nation. Indeed, if the prophet Isaiah were living today, beholding the wickedness of our nation, he would cry out, “It’s time to weep for our nation! History is repeating itself. Your cup of iniquity is full and overflowing!” (David Wilkerson) You need to read Isaiah 22 to see what happened to Judah when they would not repent and turn to God. Today more than ever we need God in our nation.
