The kingdom of Christ that will come in the end times is a supernatural kingdom. The Scripture says that this stone that becomes the mountain is cut without hands; it is not manmade. We can make bricks. We can build superstructures and skyscrapers. But only God can make a stone. No human hand fashioned the substance of Christ; He was implanted in the womb of Mary by the Holy Spirit and resurrected from the grave by His own power. He is coming one day to establish a supernatural kingdom, something unlike anything we have ever known.
His kingdom will be sudden. All of the other kingdoms of the dream image—Babylon, Medo-Persia, Greece, and Rome—were built on one another and were gradual in the making. Christ’s kingdom will come with a sudden and decisive blow. He is not going to sneak up on us. When Christ comes to set up His kingdom, every eye shall see him.
His kingdom will be a successful kingdom. In the last days the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed; it shall stand forever. In the dream, the world empires keep changing hands; each has its day, but not one has permanence. But Christ’s Kingdom will never be destroyed. It will never decay. It will never be in danger of revolution. Christ will be a King unconquerable and unconquered, a monarch without a successor. His Kingdom will endure forever. His sovereignty will never be relinquished.
It will be a severe kingdom. The iron, the clay, the bronze, the silver, and the gold were crushed together, and became like chaff from the summer threshing floors; the wind carried them away so that no trace of them was found. The prophet Malachi gave a chilling description of the time when Christ would return to set up His kingdom. “‘Surely the day is coming; it will burn like a furnace. All the arrogant and every evildoer will be stubble, and that day that is coming will set them on fire,’ says the LORD Almighty” (Mal. 4:1). This will be a day of judgment. Are you ready for the Kingdom of Jesus Christ? The time is short so why not become part of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ today?
